Raikoushin's Abilities In full:
Released Abilities:
The manipulation and conjuration of Lightning, and lighting based spiritual energies. This can be done in a variety of ways, but the main ways he does just that, is by focusing his reiatsu into his blade, causing to form and electrical charge and unleashing it with the name "Raikou Katana Kousen" or Lightning Blade Beam. He also conjures the same style of lightning into his left hand, and charges it at three levels, the first being about on par with a level 40 kido blast, the second being able to meet a powerful cero blast such as the Gran Rey Cero, to and even standstill, and this third level is the most devastating, taking near to a minute to charge up he unleashes a blast that out matches anything it comes into clashes with, pushing forward with the destructive powers of lightning. As well, he can also conjure up a small lightning storm that has about a 100 yard radius and lasts for about five minutes.

While in his shikai, armor forms on Raikoushin's wielder, granting them a siginifgant boost in their speed, about two and a half times what it originally was in the stage before this, making their movements more like a blur, or a flash of lightning.

True Released Abilities:
Stronger and greater manipulation and conjuration of lightning, and lightning based spiritual energies, as well he also fights in the 4 Rune Style. His abilities while using the lightning manipulation simply grows to being able to bend lightning attacks around him, and taking signifigantly less damage from them.

Raikoushin's 4 Runes Are:
Raikou Katana Kousen is known as the Lightning Blade Beam which is the 1st Rune's ability. It has signifigantly more power than the Shikai version ripping the earth apart if used along the ground and it seems to set the air itself ablaze with the energy of lightning. To use the ability, the 1st Rune's requirement must be met.

Raikou Suto-mo is known as the Lightning Storm and this is the 2nd Rune's ability. This ability channels the power of lightning into the blade where the wielder strikes and moves at insane speed each strike leaves a burning mark into the ground, when the symbol of the second rune is formed the final blow is an explosion of electrical energy unleashing the rune which triggers a devistating explosion that swallows up the opponent. Very few have managed to survive this, but it has been done by getting out of the way in time, or managing not to get caught in the combo of blows that lead to the final devistating blast. Again the rune must have been activated for this attack to be used.

Seigyoku Kousen also known as Sapphire Beam, this one is far more powerful in that it takes the energy of the wielder and channels it through the gem of Lothnorixius bathing the blade in a sapphire blue light as the wielder brings the blade down and unleashes the insanely powerful blast of energy that is more than equal to a level 90 Hado. It's power is insane, but it requires a similar level of power to strike the warrior to even activate as such it has not been often.

Seigyoku Raikou, the 4th Rune, Sapphire Lightning. This devastating attack combines the energies of Lothnorixius and Raikoushin as the wielder of the blade enters the 4th Rune Stance. Raikoushin's blade reverts to it's shikai state and places itself on the warriors right gauntlet and Lothnorixius's gem forms a similar blade and places itself on the left gauntlet. The armour is now pitch black and the outline of Raikoushin, the first of 9 pure elemental dragons, glows with a burning intensity that would put some stars to shame. Amidst all of this, all that is visible of the wielders face is their burning eyes as the face mask of the Armour closes shut and blacks out all other visible features. The attack itself is just as deadly as the stance would hint at. The raw power of lightning forms throughout the right arm while the calm and collected energy of both Lothnorixius and the wielder is collected in the second arm. When the hands of both arms meet at the palms, the devastating energies are combined as the
wielder takes aim and unleashes the devastating attack. However, in doing this the warrior's soul is used as a raw form of attack and as such, the soul is given to Raikoushin as part of the Law of the Four Runes. With no soul to aid in the recovery, the body itself falls and dies.

However, this is not where the power of the elemental hearts ends, there is one stage more that has only ever been used 9 times. 1 time per sibling.
The Ultimate Release
The Ultimate Releases name is not meant to be flashy, it is not meant to have a title, it is plain, simple, and because of that, all the more deadly. Raikou Doragon was used by Ivellious Tempest when he battled with the Elder Evil Omega, this was after Omega was sent back to Oblivion and Ivellious followed him, this time to make sure that the monster died and was not sealed away for a later generation to deal with. Even after unleashing the 4th Rune the true form of Omega proved to be far more resiliant than ever thought and as Ivellious's body lay there, his mind slowly falling, his heart raged at not being able to fell the beast, and the Law of the Four Runes was absolute: A soul must be claimed when The 4th Rune was used. That was it, the monster he held within him, the beast that Ankokoushin had planted, that was the sacrifice. A soul was taken, the 4th Rune stated and Ivellious's raging heart spurred him to stand again. It was then that his spiritual energies, his aura, his reiatsu burned with more intensity than it ever had before. Raikoushin was so moved by this that he granted Ivellious every last ounce of power he held within himself and the two became one. Raikoushin had unleashed everything against this monster, he had wanted to kill it as much as Ivellious, he was sick of having to seal him time and time again. He awoke the Black Lightning once more and he used it to flow through Ivellious.
The two became one.
Raikou Doragon was the name that Ivellious had uttered as Raikoushin's blade had taken on a totally different look that it ever had. The gold was stripped with black and Ivellious's body had become his own. Golden wings stripped with black and a golden tail stripped black had emerged out of Ivellious's body while the armour was still there, burning brighter than ever before. The face mask still closed Ivellious's burning emerald green eyes stared at the monster he had come to despise and hate with his entire existence.

"Kuroi Raikou." Were the only other two worlds that they spoke, for truly Raikoushin and Ivellious weren't two different being any longer, the two had become one.

Kuroi Raikou was devastating, the power, the rage, the hatred. Everything Ivellious had suffered due to Omega was poured into this attack and when it was unleashed, not even the beast that had fought with the other being known as "Ultima" so long ago to shape the world could stand up to such terrifying power.

Omega was slain. The Ultimate Release was not something to be used with no consiquence however. It had done more than just slay Omega, it had shattered the realm of Oblivion into two different halves that later became known as "The Rift" and "The Void" and Ivellious was blasted into his home world. It was then that the Ultimate Release was written into the Law of the Elemental Hearts as a final blow that only the most exclusive of them all could use.


And it was on that day that it was recorded that Ivellious Tempest fell from the wounds he had suffered in battle. Black Lightning were the last two recorded words of the greatest warrior that Raikoushin had ever been wielded by.

On that day, Ivellious Tempest, Husband to Ariekay Liadon and father of Raikou Arashi died, the entire world of Dragusinkusekki wept, for truly the world was lesser without such a man in it.


A History Lesson on Raikoushin:
Raikoushin is the eldest of the Elemental Hearts, and is the twin brother to Ankokushin. Raikoushin claims to be the eldest as he was hatched 1 minute sooner as a dragon then Ankokushin. Raikoushin didn't just have problems with Ankokushin, when his first sister Koudoshin was born, she chose to stay on the ground where she was vulnerable to an attack from above, but would she listen to reason and take to the sky? No! She called him "arrogant" and "disrespectful of the earth" when he was simply trying to protect her. And then Ankokushin came in and stated agreeing with everything she said, it made Raikoushin's life extremely difficult. Which is why when Kazeshin was born he was pleased to no end that the dragon of wind listened to the advice and all the things that Raikoushin had to say. This was a dragon who knew how to take advantage of an elders wisdom. Raikoushin knew when his little sister Mizushin was born, that he would immediately be charged with her protection and he will never stop in his protective feelings for his sister. When he found out that Mizushin had been hanging around an ice dragon he asked his right hand dragon Ranpushin, his second actual younger brother, to ask Kazeshin to investigate. And it was quite clear from Kazeshin's report and Ranpushin's report that the dragon Shiverix was indeed an noble and honourable dragon who would look out for his sister if she ever needed it. When Aisushin was born everybody immediately started to spoil her calling her a princess and giving her everything she wanted. Raikoushin, was simply trying to prove that a spoiled dragon is often a dead dragon and refused to give her anything. However, Ankokushin was there again to spite Raikoushin, by saying that he called Aisushin a "spoiled little brat" she quickly turned against him. When his youngest brother Kasaishin was born Raikoushin tried to act quickly in keeping him in line. Raikoushin knew of Kasaishin's temper from early on and he tried to keep it under control. However, that only seemed to make the situation far worse as once again Ankokushin stepped in and started to fill the young dragons mind with doubt. When it came to a group of human warriors who believe they knew magic it would seem that his brothers and sisters would be sealed before they could react and Raikoushin, who was the last to be sealed within a blade, tried everything he could to save his siblings before he was sealed but to no avail. But Raikoushin still had one tool the stupid humans didn't plan for for after he was sealed he struck the mind of the sealer, who's name has been lost to the ages, or perhaps striken from history at Raikoushin's whimsy, so that the sealer could never properly fight with him in hand. It was because of Ranpushin and that dragons love of all the arts of sealing that Raikoushin was freed and was able to free his siblings, though after he freed Ankokushin the resentment grew even more between the two of them.
It was nearly 1,000 years that they had free reign. They had made allies with powerful dragons of the current age. Raikoushin was best known for his relationship with Blister, whom he mentored and treated like a true younger sibling, and for his love affair with the mighty Dragon Lothnorixius, of whom it was rumored they even had a child. However their happiness  would soon come to an end as it became apparent that the mighty Elder Evil known as Omega was coming back to claim their world of Dragusinkusekki, which in their tongue meant "Home of the Dragons" But something changed rather quickly too, before the summoning ritual was even completed it was stopped, and by of all things 2 young elves. At first Raikoushin and the other dragons didn't bother thinking that they would be a great threat to them, for they had their peace for 1,000 years, and 2 young elves that got lucky against Omega's chosen one wouldn't stand much of a chance against all of them. But they were wrong, so very wrong.
The Twin Hero's Ivellious and Sovliss Liadon, after defeating Bergan broke up to find the original blades that sealed the dragons of the elements. It was Ivellious who found the original blade that sealed Raikoushin, and asked to the gods to make it indestructible and unbreakable. The gods had granted his wish, and when it finally came down to just Raikoushin and the elf who had either the courage, or stupidity, to challenge him to single combat. However, it was quite clear to Raikoushin as the fight went on, this young elf was more than just lucky, for he was the most skilled elf, human, dwarf or any other of the mortal races that he had ever come across. That impressed Raikoushin, and he allowed Ivellious the break in the combat he needed to recite the ancient seal once again. Raikoushin knew that he would be trapped, but he also knew one thing: the child he had with Lothnorixius had born children of her own, but it appeared that she found love with an elf and this fighter, though he may not know it, was a result of their union. Raikoushin knew deep down within him, that it would only be a matter of time before his first true wielder would come out. And it did take time time, a long time. Over 250 years later, when a young half-dragon elf stumbles into The Emerald Village (named so because that is also where Sovliss imprisoned Blight within his Emerald) and grasps Raikoushin's hilt for the first time in what felt like ages, Raikoushin waged his mental war to gain a physical body, but greatly to his surprise he felt the will of Lothnorixius repelling him, even though his scales were bronze! For the first time since Raikoushin was imprisoned within his blade, he lost the mental battle and was brought to this young dragon-elfs will.
Together they went through many battles, even slaying again the one that once claimed himself to be Omega's "chosen one" the mighty lich known as Bergan. In that battle all of his siblings found their first true wielders including Ankokushin. However it would appear that Ankokushin's drive and lust for power and to bring Omega to Dragusinkusekki would be his downfall. For even those who were most loyal to him, Kumorishin and of all of his siblings Koudoshin, turned against Ankokushin to aid Raikoushin and the young dragon elf. Eventually Raikoushin's power and Ivellious's power had grown together and they were virtually one. But alas, not even his own children could live the life span that Raikoushin had been cursed to and with the death of Ivellious Tempest, the Dragon-Elf with bronze scales, yet the will of his beloved blue Lothorixius was not yet lost. Raikoushin went once again into an eternal slumber, awaiting his next true wielder who would bear the will of his beloved Lothorixius. Raikoushin waited for a long time... countless centuries passed while Raikoushin waited but his wait is now over. For now Raikoushin is in the hands of a person who has been condemned to give up all love in his heart, for the sacrifice of saving the entire world, and his lost kin.

Thus the tale of the Elemental Hearts begins with the eldest, Raikoushin. The mighty dragon of lightning who's will can only be matched by that of his beloved or their kin. The highly protective and honour bound dragon who would do anything to save his siblings if only they asked. Raikoushin would even aid Ankokushin or help him, if he wasn't so hell bent on bringing about the destruction of the world they lived.
